BIRMINGHAM, MI – Jax KAR Wash (“Jax”) continues its remarkable expansion across Michigan, Wisconsin, and Indiana with the grand opening of its 37th car wash, located at 1300 W. Maple Road, in Troy, Michigan.
In less than three years, Jax has grown from 9 to 37 locations, more than quadrupling the number of convenient sites available to customers. The newest car wash is the 29th Jax in Michigan, along with seven in Wisconsin and one in Indiana. With five additional sites currently under construction, the company will boast more than 40 locations by the end of Q2 2025.

Jax has been serving customers with its custom car washing services for over 70 years, including Full-Service Car Washes, Express Exterior-Only Car Washes, and Express Auto Detailing sites. Jax uses only soft cloths, high-pressure fresh water, and mild soaps to guarantee clean cars without any film or residue. Each car is then hand towel dried, a practice Jax has employed since its founding in 1953. Free vacuums with condensed air blowers allow customers to clean their car’s interior quickly and easily after any wash. Customers who join the Unlimited Wash Club receive up to 2 washes per day, eliminating the guesswork of deciding when to get a car wash based on the weather.
In February of 2022, TRP Capital Partners, a Birmingham, Michigan-based private equity firm, took an ownership stake in Jax KAR Wash to fuel the company’s expansion. TRP Capital’s investment has funded a mix of new construction and acquisition growth, and the company is well-positioned for continued expansion.
