Car Wash in Mound Rd, Sterling Heights, MI

Keeping a car clean on north Mound Rd is harder than it looks, mostly because of what shares the road with you. The stretch above 17 Mile carries a steady line of plant traffic and delivery trucks, and everything they kick up ends up on the vehicle behind them.

Jax Kar Wash at 39239 Mound Rd sits right in that flow, which is the point. You are not making a trip; you are turning in on a road you already drive twice a day.

Exterior
Car Wash in Sterling Heights

Our exterior car wash is built for this kind of road grime. Diesel film, winter salt, and the fine industrial dust that settles on everything up here come off in one pass, without a brush touching the clear coat.

The add-ons are worth timing to the weather. Wheel cleaner and tire shine make an obvious difference after a salted stretch. Wax is the quick pick if you just want the panels looking sharp again, and a sealant lasts longer if the truck is going straight back out on Mound.

Unlimited
Car Wash Plans in Sterling Heights

Daily driving on this stretch turns a wash into maintenance, not a treat. If you are washing that often, our unlimited car wash plans make more sense than paying at the window every time. It is one flat monthly rate, you wash as often as your plan allows, and there is no decision to make at the pay lane on a night you are already worn out.

The point is not the discount. Most people skip a wash because they do not want one more decision at the end of a shift, not because of the money. A plan takes that decision away.

Free Vacuums
With Every Wash

The vacuum stalls are free with any wash and there is no clock on them.

Up here, we deal with diverse interior jobs that are most likely work-related. Jobsite dust comes in on a pair of boots, gravel falls out of the treads, and a layer builds in a driver’s footwell when the vehicle spends its week around plants and yards. It comes out faster than you would expect once there is real suction behind the hose.

Automatic
Car Wash in Sterling Heights

Our automatic car wash keeps the whole thing under a few minutes. You stay in the vehicle, the cycle does not vary, and the stop fits into the gap between leaving work and getting where you are actually going. Most people here wash on the drive home from a shift, and a few minutes is about all they have.

Why Sterling Heights Drivers Choose Jax Kar Wash

Shifts on this end of Sterling Heights do not line up with normal business hours, and a wash that is closed when the plant lets out is a wash nobody uses. The posted hours are worth a look before you plan a stop around a late shift.

Speed matters for the same reason. A shift change sends everybody out at once, and a wash that takes a few minutes is the only kind that works when the whole road is heading home together.

Proudly Serving Sterling Heights and Nearby Areas

Our Sterling Heights location at 39239 Mound Rd is convenient for drivers working the north end of the city, and it is a short run from 18 Mile, M-59, or Van Dyke. We see regulars from Shelby Township and Utica, most of them commuting this corridor daily rather than passing through it. A lot of them are in pickups and work vans, which is what this stretch of Mound turns out at the end of a shift.
